Dopod 900 dengan layar yang bisa diputar ini menawarkan akses cepat ke Internet lewat jaringan 3G, Wi-Fi dan GPRS. Bukan cuma itu. Berkat kemampuannya bekerja di jaringan 3G, perangkat berbobot 285 gram ini pun menjadi PDA phone dengan Windows Mobile 5.0 pertama di Asia yang dapat melakukan video call.

Sebuah kamera CMOS 1,3 megapixel ikut melengkapi feature-feature yang ditawarkan. Untuk pengambilan gambar di malah hari, Dopod mengemaskan video/flash light. Meskipun mengusung RAM sebesar 128MB, perangkat yang dimotori prosesor Intel 520MHz ini masih menyediakan slot untuk kartu memori berupa SD/MMC/SDIO.

Bahkan data yang telah tersimpan dalam memory tersebut tak akan hilang walaupun daya baterai telah habis. Suatu keunggulan yang tidak dimiliki oleh produk-produk yang masih menggunakan Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003, yang selalu kehilangan data saat daya baterai habis.

DOPOD 900 bekerja pada jaringan triband GSM, berdesain clamshell (lipat) dengan model layar yang dapat diputar. Seperti halnya produk communicator, dopod 900 juga memiliki qwerty keyboard. Tidak lupa juga Dopod melengkapi produk handalnya ini dengan fungsi MP3 Player
